There are a few obvious traits that distinguish men from women. Gay male intercourse is definitely not a masculine trait. Technically, it's not even sex because opposite sex beings are not engaged with each other and there is no possibility for sexual reproduction. I'll put the top three masculine trait list as

1) XY chromosomes
2) Male phenotype
3) Heterosexual orientation toward women

Note that the primary masculine behavior is #3. If you take a poll among any group of men for a list of other desirable masculine traits, homosexuality will never make the list. If you take a poll among a group of men for the least desirable masculine traits, homosexuality will be #1 or close to it.

There are other weaker traits and behavior often associated with masculine culture, and I think that is what you are referring to with your Marine example. A soldier can be a homosexual, physically-fit, demonstrate courage, and kill the enemy. A woman can do that, too.

Don't know much about gay sex, do you? Most gay sex is so masculine- that's what it's about- being men. The highest % of gays in any branch of the service is in the Marines....
